Its such a cold, damp miserable Tuesday morning and I need to start getting ready to go to work soon (sad face). I've had such a lovely weekend with the kids and Anthony. We nipped up to KirkbyLonsdale on Saturday for a bit of shopping and a pub lunch. When I say shopping, it doesn't mean one of those spend spend spend moments. No! All I managed to buy was a new white butter dish that I have been after for ages. But believe me when I say... I could have spent a small fortune :). Sunday was a chilled day at home as the weather once again wasn't great. But managed to do some baking... YUM!!!
Coffee Walnut Cake Now I have to say I'm not a huge fan of coffee cakes but I had to give this a try. And it was bl**dy lovely.
I've already got a slice put away to take to work with me :). Well I hope who reads this has a great day and pop back soon... as you never know when I might blog again lol.
