STAR TURN

Yes, I know. ANOTHER CARD WITH A STAR - but I put my computer on this morning to print off some inserts and I ran off a couple more stars. You can see in the piccy that there is still wet glue under the button, well I did only just finish it.

I do really like this paper - have to say I don't like all the designs in the pack though - not that keen on the fish, or the sport one.

NOTHING MUCH

Well today I have been very busy catching up on the housework. I just had loads to do. The bathroom, changing the kids bedding, hoovering upstairs, then I had to do my ironing. I am sure the pile grows over night when i'm in bed - it just seemed so never ending today.

Tonight was parents evening at school for both my kids and what can I say - glowing reports again!!! Well behaved, polite, hard working, caring - both of them a pleasure to teach. So I think a treat will be in store for them this weekend.

And finally - managed to get this card made tonight. I waited till the eldest had gone to bed before i finally got my stuff out.

It's based on the same card I did the other night but this time I ran a verse off the computer. It says:-

Good friends are like stars...
You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

I will wait until tomorrow to do the insert for this one - as I am falling asleep sat here.

So nite nite and thank you for visiting x

TONIGHTS CARDS

Got my craft stuff out again tonight, as hubby was making Millionaire shortcake with the kids. Have to say, just had a bit and it was YUMMY!!!!

The first card is near enough the same as the one from the other day - same style just different paper and image. Very simple to do and quick (the way i like them).

Well here is another 'mans' card - thought I better make another to go with the star one from today. I created the tie and stuck some patterned paper on it, then layered it. The paper is once again from the Dovecraft Masculine pack.

AND here is a shot of my crafting space - I did take it today but never got round to loading the piccy. Have to say this is quite tidy for me and it only shows you a third of my table. The storage boxes are from Woolworths and they are great little things.

MAN, BOY - WHO'S IT FOR

I don't do mens cards - I find them so hard to do, but i think I made one this morning.

The stars on this card were created on the computer and then I cut them all out and added the spotty paper to one of them. Then stuck them all together and added a Quickutz button to the centre tied with a little bit of thread.

It's just nice being able to have a play and not have the kids asking what that is for, can I play with that - when they know the answer is DONT TOUCH A THING.

The paper is the Masculine Dovecraft paper pack that I got the other day.

SUNDAY PEACE & QUIET

Well, for a couple of hours.

Hubby took the kids out today to give me some quiet in the house. They have been manic this weekend and I was ready for pulling my hair out. He told me to make some cards or stuff - so, I didn't feel guilty about having all my craft stuff all over the dining room table.

I managed to make 4 cards , 2 baby ones and 2 general cards. I used the new Dovecraft pack that I bought yesterday and I really like the paper I used. I also used a few brads, and the studio g stamps, which I then doodled a border round. The ribbon on the general cards are from Woolworths, and the ribbon on the baby cards I bought yesterday.

For the baby cards I used the Baby Dovecraft paper pack, which I cut out the cute elephant image, I also used my cuttlebug to emboss the card behind it. The ribbon was bought yesterday.

Sorry again for the bad quality pictures but once again taken this evening. Thanks for looking :)
